We're back with the start of a new year and another exciting reveal by the 12 Kits of Occasions group. This month's hostess is the fabulous Kelly, Gingham Girl and the theme is 'A Happy Hello'--a perfect choice for the start of another year. Unfortunately, on a sad note, two of our very dear members have stepped down to spend more time with their families. While they will both be missed terribly, both Renee Lynch and Kara Vrabel will always be with us in spirit and we hope to see them back when time allows.
I loved Kelly's kit. It was so amazingly easy to work with and I couldn't believe how quickly my cards seemed to take shape. She included wonderful papers and embellishments and the most adorable die cuts. I was especially charmed by the little Lawn Fawn birds. The 'hello' theme is so versatile and as I made my cards I could imagine additional sentiments I could add on the inside as different events occurred. Thank you so much, Kelly, for an awesome kit! Below is a photo that Kelly provided of some of the goodies she sent.
I made six cards and could have made more. The one below started out using a tag and some flower die cuts but I thought it might be too much. So I went back through the supplies and substituted the die cut and bold sentiment with the tiny bird. Now I think it may be my favorite! It's so much fun to play with all the fantastic choices our kits include.

Sharron you did such beautiful cards with Kelly's kit! I always enjoy seeing what you do with the supplies. I love the papers you matched and how you used the tiny Polaroids!
Awesome Sharron, so many to choose from this month! So I love the first card, the bitty bird with the BIG hello bubble :) The bold turquoise of the crossword puzzle card is stunning. I love how you layered the papers. And who can resist those adorable smiling coffee cups?
We have a twin card! So much fun....I love it when this happens. It always amazes me when we get all these fabulous supplies and two make almost the same card.
Your cards are just stunning and you made so many of them too. I love them all, you last card being my favorite with that sweet little airplane.
Oh, Sharron, you totally outdid yourself this month. So many cards, and every one of them just fantastic. Love how you cut out that sending smiles sentiment and used the airplane. That was so very clever.
Sharron, these are fantastic! The little details you always add are wonderful...like the added slightly tilted panel under your first card and how you built the sentiment to say "hello weekend". Brilliant.
Hi Sharron! Sorry I'm late! Wonderful cards love them all so dont ask for a fave here! The blue and orange with the airplane is wonderful, and the frames on the one with the bike.. mostly I love those little birdies here and there - they make me smile! Eek and the blue and red cups too for him and her! :)
