The 12 Kits of Holidays: July

It's that time again!! The last day of the month is that special day when each member of the 12 Kits group gets to share what they made with the fantastic supplies that were mailed out the first of the month. We are now on the 19th month with this amazing concept and I feel just as excited each month when my kit arrives as I did the first time. This month the theme is Birthdays and our wonderful hostess is Christina, SeaGlass Papercrafts. Thanks, Christina, for making this month seem like a party! Your kit was awesome!!

The photo below, taken by our very talented photographer, Kara, gives you a snapshot of the gorgeous goodies we received. I LOVED the papers and all the great elements--every one so perfect for a birthday celebration. I instantly had so many ideas of things to make and only time kept me from making more cards than I have posted.

Christina send us several sentiments with parts embossed in gold. I wish the gold on the 'SPECIAL' photographed better but it is gorgeous IRL! I had seen a similar card, which I loved, using banners with a sentiment and using wood hearts some time ago . Unfortunately I can't remember where and on whose blog but to whoever you are, thanks for the inspiration!

My last two cards are almost alike but still I bit different. I made these for our granddaughers' birthday. They were 10 on Sunday!!

You can find a complete list of supplies on Christina's blog. I did add a few items: the wood veneer butterflies, the sentiment on the third card which is from PTI Strictly Sentiments-Birthdays and the tiny bow on the last two cards. It is from Lil' Inkers Flip Flop dies.

Below is the list of all the other 12 Kits participants. Don't miss any of the blogs. There is always wonderful things to see.

Thanks so much for visiting! We'll see you next month when our hostess will be Amy, Stamp-N-Paradise.

Sharron, look at all of these fabulous cards you have made! This was an extra-special kit that Christina came up with for you all. I love the fortune cookie card as my favorite and the first card with all those banners is a very close second favorite. You have really gone all out this month...love the new blog too dedicated to 12 Kits. Great idea.

Oh am I in love here Sharron! I see lots of things I want to case - the balloons flying away with the tag - how fun! And the rows of pattern paper pennants under the sentiment with the butterflies... swoon! Amazing!

Sharron...love them all, really each and everyone is simply amazing! Your first card is just so sweet with those fabby flags and sweet butterflies and your chinese take out, from your coloring to your choice of patterned paper, it is simply perfect! They are all really wonderful and I know who ever receives them will just love them.

Oh my gosh, that banner card is amazing! I just love that idea for using up lots of little bits of paper. All of your designs are so cheerful and full of fun. I love the subtle coloring on your fortune cookie and the awesome patterned background you used. And I will have to come back and CASE your idea with the tags and balloons!

Wow--Sharron. These are all so amazing. I love how you were brave enough to use so much of the patterned papers. Your first card is perfect, with all those little banners--and great idea about the butterflies. And, the cards for your granddaughters are just wonderful. Just enough of the same and enough different, too.

Sharron welcome home and all such lovely cards. I love the banners on your first card with the gold twine--perfect. Your fussy cut banner, the balloons and how you trimmed out your sentiments! Love them all!
