The 12 Kits of Occasions: March with Michelle "Spring Fling"

Hi all! It's that time again, the very last day of the month, and members of the 12 Kits group are here to share their latest creations. Also again this month, one of our newest members is the hostess. Both of this year's brand new members were willing to put together kits right away--yeah! Michelle Leone, Pretty Periwinkles, is March's talented hostess and her theme is Spring Fling! We were even able to squeeze in some Easter designs, some of which might have already been shared with family and friends!

Be sure to visit the 12 Kits blog to find links to all the other members' blogs. There is also a supply list at the top or you can click here. Michelle was so sweet to provide an extra kit to give away. Leave a comment on the 12 Kits blog for a chance to win!

There is always so much to see so I want to keep my post short. You are going to love all the wonderful supplies Michelle sent. See the photo below. There were many fabulous (some just released) stamp images plus really great die cuts. The colors and pretty spring patterned papers were such fun to work with and Michelle included great embellishments too. Thanks so much for an awesome kit, Michelle!!

For my first card I used a technique that Jennifer McGuire recently posted called Vellum Panel Card. I loved this concept and will use it again. I couldn't cut my circle at an angle however since my Cuttlebug wouldn't allow it. Perhaps just another reason that I need a Big Shot!

Below is a peek inside so you can see how the patterned paper is used. I used just a partial sheet to allow for a blank space for writing.

LOVED THESE FRANTIC STAMPER BUNNIES AND THE ADORABLE BOWS MICHELLE INCLUDED.

HERE I CUT A SUN WITH A PTI DIE AND COVERED IT WITH CLEAR WINK OF STELLA.

Hope you enjoy the hop and that it helps you get in the mood for Spring! There's lots blooming here already with our mild winter. Hope it's as wonderful where you live!

Thanks for visiting,
Sharron

Thought you did a great job with your kit materials. I was intrigued with Jennifer Maguire's technique as well and thought your straight across version was just as effective. There looked to be some really fun papers to work with. I LOVE PAPER!!

Wonderful creations, Sharron. Love them all--you were so creative with how you used your supplies. I love your first card--I watched that video the other day, and wish I had thought to use that technique with this kit. Yours is incredible, and leaving the space inside for a greeting was a great idea.

Sharron...oh my, you totally rocked Michelle's kit! So many fabulous and sweet cards. But your carrot and radish card is my favorite, I just love the way you made them pop and really stand out. And your insides are as pretty as the outside, just so clever!

Oh, Sharron...you knocked this one out of the park! I am so smitten by each and every card. Your sending sunshine card is brilliant as is the vellum card. My absolute fave is your Happy Easter card. It doesn't get any cuter than that!

These are all so gorgeous, Sharron ... such adorable bunny cards ... and I love the veggies with vellum! Smiled at your comment about the Cuttlebug and the angled partial die cut ... the same thing occurred to me as I watched Jennifer's video!! Hugs, Anita :)
