Welcome to another addition of the 12 Kits of Occasions monthly reveals. This month our fabulous and talented hostess is Marybeth, Marybeth's Time for Paper. It's June, the month of brides and weddings and Marybeth's kit included a fantastic selection of papers, die cuts, stamped images and embellishments that are perfect for anything wedding or anniversary related. The soft colors are just luscious! Thank you, Marybeth, for providing such an awesome kit. I loved how easy everything seemed to go together.
I needed an anniversary card for a 50th wedding anniversary so I was lucky that Marybeth's kit had arrived at the first of the month. Since this was for someone who loves to quilt I wanted to add something quilt related. I found these blocks in a PTI set that I have had for ages and embossed them in gold. The sentiment from PTI's Beautiful Butterflies is done on vellum and also in gold. Marybeth included the cut out hearts that were left after cutting out this gorgeous heart that was so perfect for the front of the card. I double coated one with gold embossing powder to make it appear more like metal and added it at the bottom.
This wonderful quote below could have been a card all by itself but I chose to use it on the inside and added another small double coated gold heart.
This next card uses more hearts that were colored with Copics and covered with Clear Wink of Stella. It may be hard to see but more Wink of Stella was added to the glasses to create even more bubbles.
Love these Mama Elephant stamps and dies!
I once again double coated a die cut with gold embossing powder. Loving the look!
The negative of the die cut used above makes a great shaker card. And isn't this sweet bird couple adorable!
A list of the supplies that Marybeth included in her kit can be found here.
Additional supplies used that were not included in her kit: PTI Vellum Paper, Recollections Matte & Foil Papers, PTI Beautiful Butterflies and Quilt Sampler Additions stamps, Penny Black sentiment, Spellbinders Classic Edges Two, Sizzix Sugar Embossing Folder, Mama Elephant Confetti dies, Lil' Inker Anytime Tags Stitched Rectangles dies, Heidi Swapp sequins, Gold Embossing Powder (Ranger), Copics
We also are excited have a guest designer this month. You may remember Lindsey, Occasional Stamping. She won last month's guest designer spot. Well, Marybeth had already invited her to join us for June. And she did such an amazing job last month that I'm sure you will be anxious to visit her blog again. I know I am!!

They're all wonderful, Sharron!!
Like Kara I'm lovin' that gold heart on the first one...
and even though I used my die cut...
glad I still have those hearts left! :)
And those adorably precious penguins...
love them!!
Such a fabulous collection from such a wonderful kit! :)
Hi Sharron! Hope you are doing well and having a great summer.
Your cards are beautiful! Love the way you put the champaign glasses under the dots, fun idea. Your mama elephant card is adorable , love those guys too.
Your shaker card is too cute and fun. Did you know I had sequins for the kit and forgot to include them.
Wow. You sure knew how to mix and match with Marybeth's kit! I love all the gold embossing on the first card and how you customized it with the quilt stamps. I also love the shaker card and the champagne glass card. It looks like you are all stocked up for any wedding or anniversary that comes along!
Sharron your cards are all so fabulous, so many things I did not think of. Love the embossed touches but I have to say your shaker is just the cutest!!
All really nicely done card...the shaker card is my favorite...that technique is on my wish list to do...
EEK! Was going through the cards slowly ... slowly scrolling down so I can soak in each one and then BAM!!! That confetti card with the quote bubble! OMG! That is the sweetest thing ever! Absolutely brilliant!
Such a fabulous collection of cards. Love your idea to use that 'love is' inside for a 50th anniversary card. I thought I was being clever coloring that happy, but I think your idea of embossing powder is even better--way better. Must say that your last card is my favorite. Fantastic birds and such a fun shaker.
Fabulous cards Sharron...I love them all but my favorite of your collection is your final card. Your birdies are so sweet and I love the speech bubble filled with sequins.
What a brilliant selection of cards, Sharron ... so many wonderful ideas! My faves are the two speech bubble ones ... I especially love the shaker ... so adorable! Thanks so much for coming by my blog and leaving me such sweet words ... it's much appreciated ... and meant I could come here and enjoy your fabulous work! Anita :)
Incredible cards! I love the shaker cards and how you embossed with the gold! I need to try this - it is GORGEOUS!!!!
Beautiful!!!! I adore how you placed the vellum over the heart die cut on the first, added the gold heart, and grounded it with the strip at the bottom. I love how you worked the stamped dots into the design on the ME birdie card, and your happy for you card is just beautiful!!! I'm so glad I have those dies left and can CASE that one.
So the two little birds with the word bubble? Can't get enough! I also love the bubble shaker card... how clever! The gold "happy" is probably my favorite though... wow!
